Civil Wedding Ceremony in a Castle Setting
Make your wedding ceremony a grand affair at Södertuna Slott. Say “I do” with the castle, the park, and Lake Frösjön as your backdrop, with the option of either a garden wedding in the castle park or an outdoor wedding near the water. For indoor ceremonies, there are beautiful halls and salons that provide a festive setting for weddings in the fall, winter, spring, and summer.

Sara is a certified wedding coordinator and F&B & Event Manager for Södertuna Slott and Gripsholms Värdshus. With extensive experience in the industry, a strong commitment, and a keen eye for detail, she’ll help you bring your ideas to life, from the first meeting to the big celebration.
This can include everything from the wedding ceremony, table settings, and menu to the overall structure of the celebration and the personal touches that make the day uniquely yours. You decide whether you want help with the entire process or with specific aspects of wedding planning.

The hotel can accommodate up to 134 overnight guests in beautiful rooms and private Castle Chamber, close to both the banquet facilities and Lake Frösjön. The next morning, a hotel breakfast awaits in the castle’s dining rooms—a lovely way to wrap up the celebration before it’s time to head home.
